About Dream-Rock Collective
I believe in the power of creativity and imagination, and in the collective power of everyday, average people. Merging the power of art with community reinvestment, Dream-Rock Collective focuses on actively creating the world we want to live in.
We are donating 50% of our profits to local mutual aids and nonprofits that can do the work in impacted and under-invested communities.
50% of profits towards:
- Food Distribution
- Climate Justice
- Supporting neighbors impacted by ICE
As a subscriber, you can determine where your dollars go dividing up your 50% in equal parts, or whichever you would like to fund.
Financial transparency is a key value of Dream-Rock, and will be updated quarterly as the mail club grows.
About the Artist
Leeya Appleby was raised in Hawaii and has lived in San Diego, California, for her entire adult life. She has a BA in Philosophy, a BA in Psychology, and a Master’s in Peace Studies and Social Justice. She loves to read and write about nature and is always learning more about what it means to be alive in this particular time.
Leeya is an oil painter, print-maker, and collage artist. Her subjects focus on romanticizing the magic of everyday life and art activism focused on climate justice and human rights. Leeya often creates art around the experience of being gay and neurodivergent—capturing the joy and complexities that come with being alive.
